We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting our first Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair on Wednesday 19 February 2020, 2-5pm at The Queen’s Theatre.
Last year, Julia hosted our first Older People’s Fair, bringing together local community groups, health and care providers, legal and financial advisers and more who can help people plan a fulfilling retirement or better help someone they are caring for. The event was a great success and we are pleased to be working with The Queen’s Theatre again and our local Job Centre to host a Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair.
The event is free to attend and all constituents are welcome. For jobseekers, there will be employers from a variety of sectors, including logistics and transport, construction, care, emergency services and many more exhibiting to discuss job opportunities within their organisations. For students nearing the end of their school career and considering their next move, there will be a number of exhibitors who offer apprenticeship schemes. There will also be training providers there to offer advice on how to gain skills needed to take the next step in your career ladder and representatives from the Job Centre will be on hand to discuss the variety of support there and offered to help people re-enter the workplace.
While the full list of exhibitors is not yet complete, the following have confirmed their attendance:
