Julia Lopez MP has made formal submissions to Transport for London and the Mayor of London regarding TfL's review of Central London bus services.
Within her submission, Julia has highlighted how a withdrawal of routes and the frequency of services will disproportionately affect wheelchair users, alongside parents with pushchairs, who will find it more difficult to change buses and for whom an reduction in the number of buses serving a given route will lead to a disproportionate reduction in available spaces.
Additionally, Julia has highlighted how the withdrawal of bus route 11 and the re-routing of bus route 26 will be significantly impactful to constituents in removing direct bus connections to both London Waterloo and Charing Cross, and the mainline services to Surrey, the South-West and Kent that can be accessed there, from constituents entering London via London Liverpool Street and London Fenchurch Street.
