The team and I had a wonderful afternoon visiting Langtons Infant and Junior Schools in Hornchurch today, and I was grilled by the Junior School's impressive Learner Council about my life in politics and the issues affecting children in the area. We were given a tour of both schools and had the chance for a one-to-one with members of the schools' leadership teams.

I had arranged to visit the two Langtons as part of my aim to understand the opportunities and challenges facing our local schools, and to offer help in connecting their leadership teams to useful people in Westminster and the constituency.
