Team Lopez – Today, Julia met with the CEO of The Habbit Factory, Lee Giles, to learn about how Arts Council funding has helped the theatre company through COVID-19.

The Habbit Factory run weekly classes in locations across Havering for people of every age, ability and background to help make the arts, and theatre in particular, more accessible for everyone. Supported by committed volunteers, known as ‘Blue Tees’, hundreds of children get to enjoy the arts and harness their talents each week culminating in a show at the end of the year. It was a pleasure to meet Lee and hear of his ambitions to grow The Habbit Factory and reach even more children.

Membership is £15 monthly and they run classes and shows in venues across Harold Hill, Hornchurch, and Elm Park. More information can be viewed on their website, here - The Habbit Factory
