Julia Lopez MP is hosting a Jobs, Apprenticeships and Skills Fair on Thursday 21 September at MyPlace in partnership with the Romford Jobcentre and a range of local employers. After many successful events at Queen’s Theatre, we hope this event will be equally as helpful to local residents in Harold Hill and the wider community. The event will last from 9.30AM until 12.30PM at MyPlace, 343 Dagnam Park Drive, Harold Hill, RM3 9EN.
We should love for you to join us at the event if you are looking to get back into work, start a new career, help someone you know secure a role or find training and skill opportunities. Local employers with live vacancies will be looking to meet residents who want to work in the borough and various digital agencies and bootcamps will be offering upskilling opportunities.
Confirmed employers include AstraZeneca, BHRUT (NHS), British Army, Bryer Group, Care Providers Voice, Go Ahead, Metropolitan Police, Metro Bank, Quint Education, Royal Air Force, Ruskins Trees and Soil Biology Ltd, and Stansted Academy
Confirmed training providers and support organisations include Catch 22, CONEL vocational courses, Forward Trust, Generation UK, Havering Works, LTSB, New City College, Peabody, Peoples Potential, Specialist Trade Courses (STC) as well as other digital agencies and bootcamps.
These confirmed providers will be continuously updated as we approach the fair.
There is no fee to attend however, it would be appreciated if you would register your attendance at EventBrite
We hope that you find the event helpful and encourage you to share the above information with any friends or family who are seeking employment.
