On Friday 11 October Julia Lopez is hosting her second Older People’s Fair at Queen’s Theatre in Hornchurch. This follows several successful Jobs Fairs at the venue, and we are pleased to be able to host another free event for the community at the Theatre.
The event is aimed at bringing together a range of local community groups, health and care providers, legal and financial advisers and more who can help people plan a fulfilling retirement or better help someone they are caring for.
Confirmed services and providers for the event include Queen’s Hospital, Havering Social Services, Transport for London, Age UK, Carers Volunteer Hub, and Romford Jobcentre DWP, among others. They will be on hand to provide advice on topics ranging from finances, to care, to pensions and local support groups.
The full list of confirmed providers is listed below and will be continuously updated as we approach the fair.
This event is free admission and is open to everyone to attend. The event will be hosted at Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch, RM11 1QT, between 09.30am-12.30pm. We would encourage you to share this information with anyone that may interested in finding out more on the day.
If you or any friends and family in Hornchurch & Upminster and the wider community are seeking assistance with issues affecting older people, or if they are caring for someone elderly, Julia Lopez hopes this event will be an excellent opportunity to help them meet useful providers and find out more.
If you are a local group or service who would be interested in exhibiting at the Older People’s Fair, please contact Julia’s office at 01708 226 126 or via email at [email protected]. Similarly, if you would like to attend and have any questions about the event, please give call or email us at the same address.
