This morning I met Havering College's Principal, Maria Thompson, to discuss the best model for providing skills and training to young people and adult learners across the borough in future. Meeting at the College's Ardleigh Green campus, we talked about the relocation of the Quarles Campus from Harold Hill to an extended site at Ardleigh and plans to build a more extensive facility in Rainham. We also discussed the rolling out of so-called T-Levels which aim to give technical education more prominence in our system.
