Armed Forces Day is a chance for people across our country to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. There are many ways for people, communities and organisations across the country to show their support and in Havering, there was a parade through Romford market followed by a thanksgiving at the Town Hall. Julia joined the Council Leader and other community figures to mark this important occasion, expressing our appreciation of the people who actively work to keep our country safe each and every day, along with those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we all enjoy.
