Today, my team and I visited Stubbers Adventure Centre on Ockendon Road to learn about the facilities they provide to local families and groups. 

The visit followed contact between our office and Stubbers about the support they provided to families affected by the appalling summer grass fires in Wennington.

Since the pandemic, Stubbers have invested in a range of new facilities including a new lake beach, playground and covered areas for families to enjoy. They also host emergency services exercises to help with their resilience and training.
