To mark National Apprenticeships Week, Julia Lopez MP is hosting an Apprenticeships and Skills Fair in partnership with the Romford Jobcentre Plus at Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch, on Friday 10 February from 10am-1pm.

Following on from the success of her August 2022 Jobs & Skills Fair, where over 60 residents secured a job or training, Julia’s next Fair focuses on people of all ages who seek an apprenticeship or training opportunity, especially those wanting to switch careers, get back into the workplace or secure their first job. 

Trained job coaches will be on hand to offer advice and information, while local employers with apprenticeships will be looking to meet residents who want to secure a position or explore vacancies.

Confirmed employers include AstraZeneca, BHRUT NHS Trust, MTR Elizabeth Line, Metropolitan Police, V&A Museums and Stansted Academy. More employers and training providers have been invited by the Romford JCP and this webpage will be updated with details.
