Julia Lopez MP met with the Chief Executive Officer of Openreach, Clive Selley, to press for superfast broadband upgrades for constituents.
Earlier in Autumn, Julia received complaints about bad broadband in parts of Cranham and North Ockendon and got Openreach over to install the infrastructure needed for homes and other premises to get lightning-fast gigabit speeds.
Despite the necessary infrastructure upgrade being completed, some residents in The Chase reported that their service provider was unable to increase their broadband speeds. Mrs Lopez reported this to Openreach before raising it in Parliament with CEO, Clive Selley. Clive pledged to fix this issue and to address other North Ockendon locations that Julia highlighted as having poor download speeds.
