MP MEETS SCHOOL COUNCIL AT SUTTONS PRIMARY

To mark World Book Day, Hornchurch and Upminster MP Julia Lopez met the School Council members at Sutton’s Primary School. Mrs Lopez explained the role of Parliament, how the UK’s democracy works, her role as a Member of Parliament and World Book Day. Mrs Lopez enjoyed the personal tour given by students and was impressed by the progress made by pupils under the school’s Accelerated Reader programme.
